First Baptist Church of Hurricane
offers a traditional service at 850am and a more contemporary
service at 1100am. Regardless of the style or form
utilized, FBC believes that true worship only occurs when the Spirit
of God touches the spirits of His people, and that this occurs best
when his people are prepared to experience his presence. Come
ready to meet the LORD and you will be blessed.

March
28th - 4:00 PM
From the
best-selling creative team of David T. Clydesdale and
Steve Moore comes an interactive Easter worship
experience. Eyes of Faith
engages all of the senses in a dramatic and captivating
display of live music and video. Worshippers will
understand anew the powerfully personal story of
Christ's death and resurrection through the eyes of
faith. Eyes
of Faith
portrays Simeon, Judas, Mary Magdalene and Peter, with
live narration, choir and soloists. These followers of
Jesus reveal their insights, feelings and emotional
responses to the Easter story.
We
see how their lives were affected and changed by Jesus,
and realize that He is still affecting and changing
lives today. The congregation has an opportunity to join
by worshipping in song with the choir throughout large
sections of the musical.

Heaven's Rush began
singing together in the spring of 2006 and the quartet
has been going strong ever since. Drawing from a variety
of musical backgrounds, their melodic harmonies and
stylish vocal ability brings a fresh new mix to Southern
Gospel music today in the Mid-Ohio Valley.
Since forming in 2006 the
group has already opened for gospel music hall of famers
The Kingsmen, and The Isaacs. The group has been singing
at churches, fairs, festivals, benefits, all across the
Mid-Ohio Valley and have participated in the WV Sate
Quartet Convention and the The National Quartet
Convention in 2007. Heaven's Rush proclaims the gospel
message through music that ministers and encourages
audiences wherever they go. |
